Smart Dismiss Platform

The Project

Our dismissal platform, available as both a web and mobile app, streamlines the end-of-day pick-up process for elementary and high schools. Designed to optimize efficiency and enhance safety, the platform utilizes QR code technology for seamless operation. Parents are issued a unique QR code, which is scanned by school staff at the parking lot. This triggers an alert to the corresponding classroom, notifying the teacher to send the student to the designated pick-up area. The result is a quick, controlled, and orderly dismissal process, ensuring a smooth and secure end to the school day.

The Challenge

To create real-time interaction with no delays on the devices communication to optimize the flow of the dismissal process without gaps.

Being able to manage thousands of students and at the same time in a simple and logical manner, having an administration dashboard to give full control to the school administration.

Create a full web-based platform with the freedom to create all the content for the school to control the staff, exits, and some other critical information for the smooth performance of the dismissal process.

The Solutions

We created a hybrid platform, web based and mobile app to complete the flow of the logistics to make it reliable for real-time response.

We designed the platform to be able to handle thousands of students if needed, making sure that any school, big or small, had an optimized experience.

Furthermore, enhancing data fetching processes through methods such as data caching and prefetching reduces dependence on real-time API responses, thereby minimizing the effects of latency on user interactions.

By creating these solutions, the platform maintains a constant flow and functionality preventing delays on the communication and alerts.
